Peter Tetzlaff

Peter is based on the North Shore in Auckland, servicing clients in Auckland and throughout New Zealand.

A seasoned business builder himself and a man who brought his family all the way from Europe to start a new life, Peter is well suited to self employed investors or people looking to embrace big changes in their lives.

Born in Germany, Peter spent 16 years as a General Manager of an international mail-order company with an annual turnover of $20 million and 50 staff. In 1998 he moved to New Zealand looking for a lifestyle change. After building and selling a successful business in Levin, north of Wellington, Peter left the West Coast to pursue his long standing interest in the financial industry.

An investor himself for 25 years, his passion for people and analytical mindset led him to become a financial adviser. He trained and worked for nearly 2 years for a financial planning firm in Tauranga before joining the Milestone team in 2007. Peter has completed the Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (endorsed Personal Financial Planning) from Massey University and is a Certified Financial Planner CFP^CM.

Like all members of the Milestone team Peter takes every opportunity to participate in industry seminars and conferences to further his education and keep up with current developments. Peter is married to Sabine with two adult children, Katharina and Robin. Work and his clients take up most of his time, but he enjoys reading, the arts and his newly found passion for golf.

Katharina Tetzlaff

Katharina is based on Auckland’s North Shore and works as a specialist risk adviser in the family business.

Managing a retail store while studying in Auckland has given her a real understanding and passion for providing quality service to clients. She has completed extensive specialist training for life and health insurance. Katharina is committed to constantly update her skills to provide her clients with comprehensive insurance solutions for their individual needs.

Her task is to enhance the Milestone North Teams Insurance services with specialist advice. For Milestone Financial Services (North) Limited Katharina’s employment was a logical step: while risk advice is an integral part of financial planning it has become essential for the business to have a dedicated specialist in this area to guarantee the best possible service for clients. Being bilingual, Katharina can deal with our German and New Zealand clients.

Katharina is a qualified Graphic Designer, having completed her bachelor at AUT. She is a mother of two little boys, Elijah and Aodhán.
