Maritime Union members employed by the Ports of Auckland will strike for three weeks in the latest round of industrial action which has lasted several months.

Skellerup says half-year profits rose 17.2 per cent, hitting a record high on solid demand for its mining and agricultural products despite "challenging" market conditions, and is on track to hit full year earnings guidance of $22 million to $23m.
